Privacy policy

This policy applies to The Mandala Dance US, the public website, registration flow, contact form, and family account services that link to it. It does not replace a separate notice supplied by a payment, email, authentication, or other third-party service.

Messages and inquiries. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, topic, message, and the information needed to prevent abuse and route the message.

Registration and account information. We may collect guardian and dancer names, dates of birth, contact details, studio interests, account credentials and verification state, emergency and health or accessibility details, consent and waiver records, enrollment information, and communications.

Payments. Our payment provider processes payment details. We receive transaction, customer, subscription, invoice, and payment-method reference information such as provider IDs and limited display details—not full card or bank numbers.

Technical and security information. We process authentication/session cookies, device and request information, and security or audit logs as needed to operate and protect the services.

We use information to respond to inquiries, create and secure accounts, place dancers, manage classes and attendance, process and reconcile payments, send service and transactional messages, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain records, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

We share information with service providers that help us host the app and database, authenticate users, send email or text messages, process payments, and protect the service; with instructors or staff who need it for studio operations; with professional advisers; or when required to comply with law, protect people, or enforce our terms. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising in the current service.

The public website is intended for parents, guardians, and adult dancers—not for children to independently create accounts. A parent or guardian may provide information about a minor for registration, class administration, safety, and communication. Please do not put a child's health information in the public contact form; use the secure account or ask us how to provide it.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain class, account, payment, safety, and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Contact messages are retained as studio correspondence and may be archived rather than immediately deleted. We use access controls, secure service providers, and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing info@themandala.us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when required for a contract, safety, fraud prevention, legal claim, or financial record. If a privacy request is denied, reply to the decision email to ask us to review it.

Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, subject to its scope and exceptions, including rights to know/access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. We do not require you to waive a privacy right to use the studio.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, and core site functions. We will post changes to this policy here with a new effective date. The current service does not use personal data for targeted advertising.
